Using a wide range of mediums and processes in each painting, my art reflects my interest in the stages of life, as well as ideas and stories of the past, present, and future. I incorporate the idea of transparency in my work, while infusing dreamlike elements. I enjoy painting as a tool of both escape and discovery.
As I continue to paint, I find myself to be an observant and introspective individual which has allowed me to perceive the world from a chronological perspective and serves as the foundation of my work as an artist.
I am very influenced by 19th Century European artists such as Gustav Klimt, Dante Rossetti and Edward Burne-Jones. In most of my work, my inspiration comes from the idea of storytelling while using concepts of physics and plant physiology.
